Map
The Moving Map with current airspace data shows you exactly where you are.
Currently the app supports airspace maps of the following 18 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland
and a terrain map.
The map can be moved with one finger and zoomed in and out with two fingers.
There are 7 buttons on the screen.
The upper left button displays your altitude in m or ft.
The middle left button displays the speed in kmh or kt.
The lower left button indicates your course.
The button in the upper right corner shows the shortcode of the selected airfield.
The middle right button shows the distance to the selected airfield.
The lower right button shows your altitude at the selected airfield.
The „Recenter Map“ button returns you to the center of the map.
The units can be changed by tapping the buttons.
The course to the selected destination airfield is shown by a blue line.
A 10 km and a 20 km circle are displayed around your location. These circles can be activated or deactivated in the settings menu.
Destination
On the „Destination“-Tab the country, name, short name, direction and distance to the respective airfield are displayed. You can also search for any airfield and sort the airfields by name or distance.
The distance is displayed in red if the airfield cannot be reached from the current location and altitude. If the airfield can be reached from the current location and altitude, it is displayed in green.
When an airfield is selected as a destination, a blue line is displayed on the map for the selected airfield. When the same airfield is selected again, the blue line on the map is removed.
